Welcome to BikeDialed. By accessing or using our website and services at app.bikedialed.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

BikeDialed is a free web-based tool that allows users to create bicycle configurations, track component weights, and share their builds. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at contact@bikedialed.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit false, misleading, or intentionally inaccurate component data.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the Service's infrastructure.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without prior written consent.
• Impersonate other users or entities.
• Use automated tools to create accounts or submit data in bulk.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (bike configurations, custom component data, etc.). By submitting content to the Service, you grant BikeDialed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and share that content as part of the Service's functionality (e.g., public build sharing, community component database).

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any data you submit. BikeDialed does not verify user-submitted component weights.

6. Community Component Database

Custom components you add may become part of the community database and be visible to other users. By adding a custom component, you agree that the weight and specification data (not your personal information) may be shared publicly within the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is owned by BikeDialed and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Component weight data (including community-submitted data) is accurate or complete.
• The Service will meet your specific requirements.

BikeDialed is a planning and tracking tool. Component weights are approximate and should not be the sole basis for safety-critical decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BikeDialed and its owners, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service (which, for free accounts, is zero).

10. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time. Deletion is permanent and all data will be removed within 30 days.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.
